Lori is a seasoned yogi and yoga instructor whose depth of knowledge and accessible teaching style emerges from three decades of yogic studies, practice, teaching, and a lifetime of being an athlete, as well as direct experience with having, healing, and rehabbing from a chronic illness.
After getting her BA in English at the University of Virginia (1991) and an MA in Education at CU Boulder (1994), Lori turned her focus on integral and supramental yoga philosophy, meditation, breathwork, hatha yoga, including Kundalini, Bikram, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Power, Restorative, Gentle and Flow styles. She has owned a couple yoga studios of her own, studied in India on multiple occasions, and in 2018 published a book on the role sacred geometry plays in deciphering ancient Vedic symbols and mythology. Lori loves teaching yoga and especially loves helping clients modify poses according to their flexibility, energy level, and mood, so that they can enjoy their practice and come out feeling both relaxed and uplifted.
